TikTok Shop fee formula

Referral fee = Item price × Referral %

Affiliate commission = Item price × Affiliate %

Payout = Item price − Referral fee − Affiliate commission

Example

An item sells for 35. At a 6% referral fee (2.10) and a 15% creator commission (5.25), fees total 7.35 and the payout is 27.65. After 9 product cost and 5 shipping, profit is 13.65, a 39% margin.

How TikTok Shop fees work

TikTok Shop charges sellers a referral fee on each order, which also covers payment processing, calculated on what the customer pays before tax. If a creator sells your product through the affiliate program, their commission is taken on top. Promotions and shipping programs can change your costs.
