How to use the Coupang fee calculator

- Enter the commission for your category from Coupang's fee table. Most general categories are 10.8%.
- Keep VAT at 10% unless your accountant says otherwise, then add your product and shipping costs.

Estimate. Commission is charged on the price the customer actually pays after discounts. Sellers with KRW 1 million or more in monthly sales also pay a KRW 55,000 monthly server fee, not included here. Checked September 2026.
Example
An item sells for KRW 29,900 with free shipping. A 10.8% commission is KRW 3,229, or KRW 3,552 with VAT. The payout is KRW 26,348, and after KRW 12,000 product cost and KRW 3,000 shipping, profit is KRW 11,348, a 38% margin.
Coupang seller fees explained
Coupang marketplace (Wing) sellers pay a sales commission by category, from 4% for gold jewellery to 10.8% for most general categories, with electronics lower. There is no separate payment fee, but VAT is added to the commission.
