Privacy Policy

kivi (https://kivi.tools) is operated by Pino Australia Pty Limited ("we", "us"), based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what information we collect when you use kivi and how we handle it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

The short version

• You can use every tool without an account.
• The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic request data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit. This is used to run, secure and improve the site.
• Usage statistics. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited. These statistics are aggregated and are not used to identify you.
• Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply and to improve kivi.
• Newsletter. If we offer a newsletter and you subscribe, we store your email address with our email provider to send it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Storage in your browser

kivi saves a few preferences in your browser's local storage, such as your chosen currency, whether you dismissed the language suggestion, and your favourite and recently used tools. This data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to operate kivi, including website hosting (Vercel), domain and DNS services (Cloudflare) and, where applicable, an email or newsletter provider. These providers may process data outside Australia, including in the United States, and only on our behalf.

Advertising and affiliate links

kivi does not currently show advertising. If we add ads or affiliate links in future, we will update this policy before doing so, including any cookies those services use.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@kivi.tools. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply, and respect the rights of users in other regions, such as the EU and UK, under their local laws. If you have a concern, contact us first and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

kivi is designed for business use and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as kivi grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
